Safeguarding the ag and food industries requires an organized effort between industry and government. To achieve this, the Wisconsin Agro-Security Resource Network (WARN) was formed, according to the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.

WARN has a network of industry professionals working with regulatory officials to provide a coordinated communications plan in the event of a crisis affecting Wisconsin agriculture. This approach helps WARN better communicate the facts and safeguard consumer confidence in Wisconsin — and U.S. — food products and agricultural systems.
