The Wisconsin Holstein Association (WHA) is now accepting resumes for a summer internship. The internship will run from May 23, 2011 through August 19, 2011, and will include extensive travel to all parts of the state for various WHA events.
This internship will include office work, public relations, fundraising and service to the WI Holstein members through attendance and working at various events around the state. Applicants will need their own vehicle, and will have the opportunity to coordinate the WHA Futurity, show booklet and meal, attend district shows to take photos of winners and entries for the championship show, write breeder profile articles for the Wisconsin Holstein News, and attend WHA sponsored events.
The internship will also provide valuable office experiences that include but are not limited to website updating and design techniques, telephone etiquette, Microsoft Office programs on PC and Mac, fax and copier work.
