Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/14/2012

SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA LIVESTOCK AUCTION WILL BE CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING
HOLIDAY NEXT WEEK.  NEXT SALE WILL BE NOVEMBER 28.
 
Receipts:  1715    Last Week:  2019    Year Ago:  1988
 
  Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves steady to 3.00 
higher with heifers over 450 lbs. 2.00-5.00 higher.  Yearling 
cattle not established. Demand moderate to good. Overall quality of 
offerings mostly plain to average, not as attractive as last week. 
Fills average to full and most cattle in average flesh.  Rain earlier
this week was very welcomed but more is needed for grazing and to
replenish stock water. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher.  Bulls
not established.  Packer demand moderate to good.  421 cows and
bulls sold with 57 percent going to packers.
