Receipts: 615 Last Week: 1300 Year Ago: 500
Compared to last Monday at the same market, Stocker and feeder cattle steady in
a light test. Trade slow with light to moderate demand. Buyer participation was
light. Slaughter cows and bulls 1.00-3.00 higher. Trade active with very good
demand. Slaughter cows made up 54 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 10
percent, 20 percent replacement cows, and feeders 16 percent of the supply. The
feeder supply included 40 percent steers and 60 percent heifers. Near 17 percent of
the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 400-500 lbs 131.00; 500-600 lbs 121.00-
123.00. Large 1-2: 900-1000 lbs 115.75. Small and Medium 1-2: 500-600 lbs
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 400-500 lbs 120.00-126.00; 500-600 lbs
