Central U.S. Daily Direct Feedlot Slaughter Cattle Report as of 3:35 PM

  Trading was mostly inactive in all major feeding regions on Friday. 
  Boxed beef cutout values lower on light demand and light to moderate offerings.
Choice cutouts closed down 1.36 at 189.99, and Select cutouts closed down 1.45 at 
175.64 on 151 total loads reported.  The hide and offal value from a typical 
slaughter steer for today was estimated at 13.26 per cwt live, down -0.03 when 
compared to Thursday's value. The estimated Cattle Slaughter under Federal Inspection 
for Friday reported at 115,000 and 13,000 for Saturday.

on a voluntary basis. This report will be released at 3:30pm daily and 
more frequently during active trading periods.
