Central U.S. Daily Direct Feedlot Slaughter Cattle Report as of 3:00 PM

Today's Reported Sales Volume: None
Today's Estimated Sales Volume: None
Trading was limited in all feeding regions. Boxed Beef cutout values were
lower on light to moderate demand and moderate offerings. Choice cuts were 1.63
lower at 192.20 and Select cuts were 1.84 lower at 184.36. The hide and offal
value from a typical slaughter steer for today was estimated at 13.53 per cwt
live, unchanged when compared to Wednesday's value. For Thursday, estimated
cattle slaughter was fully steady when compared to last Thursday at 124,000. The
February Live Cattle contract from the CME, closed 1.92 lower 126.60, when
compared to the previous day.

on a voluntary basis. This report will be released at 3:30pm daily and
more frequently during active trading periods.
