Central U.S. Daily Direct Feedlot Slaughter Cattle Report as of 3:45 PM
Today's Reported Sales Volume: 13,000
Today's Estimated Sales Volume: 28,000
Trading and demand is moderate in Nebraska Friday afternoon. Few live
sales in Western Nebraska have traded at 126.00 with dressed sales trading
mostly 4.00 higher than the bulk of the trade last week at 202.00. Trading
is light to moderate in Iowa with a few dressed sales ranging from 200.00-
202.00.
Estimated cattle slaughter was 122,000 for Friday, and 12,000 for Saturday
for a weekly total of 621,000. Boxed beef cutout values were called lower
to sharply lower on light to moderate demand and moderate to heavy offerings.
Choice closed down 2.76 at 182.56 and Select closed down 1.63 at 178.62 on
238 total loads.

on a voluntary basis. This report will be released at 3:30pm daily and
more frequently during active trading periods.
