Clovis Livestock Auction Summary - Clovis, NM - Wednesday - 11/14/12

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 3.00-4.00 higher, instances 6.00-8.00 
higher on 500-600 lbs. Slaughter cows 2.00 higher and bulls steady to weak. Trade active, 
demand good.  Clovis will not be having a sale on Weds. Nov. 21, 2012. The next auction 
will be Weds. Nov. 28, 2012 starting time 9:00 am.  This report will be published on 
Thursday Nov. 29th. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-800 lb feeder steers and heifers.  
Slaughter cows 8 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, bred cows 6 percent; 
pairs 2 percent; feeders 82 percent.  In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 
47 percent of the run; feeder bulls 1 percent; heifers 52 percent; feeder steers and 
heifers over 600 lbs total 21 percent.
