Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 600 lbs mostly 5.00-6.00 lower, 450-500
lbs steady, over 600 lbs steady. Heifers under 600 lbs 3.00-6.00 lower, over 600 lbs
1.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower, except high yielding cows steady. Bulls
not well tested. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 lb feeder steers and
heifers. Slaughter cows 20 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, bred
cows 2 percent; pairs 1 percent; feeders 75 percent. In the feeder supply, steers
made up approximately 60 percent of the run; feeder bulls 1 percent; heifers 39
percent; feeder steers and heifers over 600 lbs total 36 percent.
