   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers under 600 lbs firm; over 600 lbs 2.00 
higher.  Feeder heifers under 600 lbs 2.00-3.00 higher; over 600 lb 1.00-2.00 
higher. Slaughter cows and bulls 4.00-5.00 higher.  Trade active.  Demand good.  
Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 250-850 lb feeder steers and heifers.  
Slaughter cows made up 15 percent, slaughter bulls 1 percent, replacement cows 1 
percent, and feeders 83 percent.  The feeder supply included 59 percent steers 
and 41 percent heifers.  Near 70 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.

   Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 235-295 lbs 231.00-241.00, few 238 lbs fancy 
249.00; few 332-369 lbs 217.00-227.00; 400-500 lbs 197.00-204.00, few 491 lbs
