Feeder Cattle Auction Narrative Report for Wed 01/09/2013
 
Receipts:  8670    Last Week:  No Sale    Year Ago:  7548
 
Compared to the last sale two weeks ago: Feeder steers 2.00 to 4.00 
higher.  Feeder heifers sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher.  Steer and heifer 
calves traded 5.00 to 10.00 higher.  Demand very good for all 
classes. Quality was moderate to attractive.  Wheat pastures are 
getting some relief from the dry weather pattern, as a storm system 
has moved in mid week and is forcated for most of the later part of 
the week.  Supply included 80 percent over 600 lbs; 46 percent 
heifers.

230.00; 400-450 lbs 186.00-212.00, few fancy 400lb 230.00; 450-500 lbs
