Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/23/2013
 
Receipts:  4952    Last Week:  5567    Year Ago:  4727
 
Compared to the last week:  Feeder steers 1.00-2.00 lower with 
exception of cattle over 800 lbs trading 3.00-4.00 lower.  Feeder 
heifers 2.00-4.00 lower.  Steer calves sold steady to firm with a 
higher quaility offering.  Heifer calves sold 2.00-4.00 lower.  
Demand remains good with warmer weather and mutiple chances of rain 
throughout the seven day forecast.  Quality was moderate to very 
attractive.  Supply included 73 percent over 600 lbs; 44 percent 
heifers.
