Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions that were held Monday Jun 11, 2012

   Cattle auctions at Blackshear (98), Carroll Co. (595), Eastanollee (339), 
Fitzgerald (300), Swainsboro (294) and Thomaston (n/s). Receipts Monday 1,700
week ago 1,929 and year ago 2,198. Compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows 
2.00 to 4.00 lower, bulls 1.00 to 3.00 lower, feeder steers steady to 3.00
lower, heifers 1.00 to 3.00 lower, steer calves 2.00 to 4.00 lower, heifer 
calves steady to 3.00 lower, replacement cows mostly steady. 

Slaughter cows 16 percent, slaughter bulls 3 percent and feeders 81 percent. 
In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 49 percent of the run, 
heifers 34 percent and replacement cows 17 percent, steers and heifers over
600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.
