Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions that were held Monday Nov 12, 2012

   Cattle auctions at Blackshear (84), Carroll Co. (1020), Eastanollee 
(533), Fitzgerald (496), Swainsboro (307) and Thomaston (69). Receipts 
Monday 2,509 week ago 2,040 and year ago 2,203. Compared to one week 
earlier, slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady, feeder steers unevenly
steady, heifers steady to 1.00 lower, steer calves and heifer calves steady
to 2.00 higher, replacement cows mostly steady.

Slaughter cows 9 percent, slaughter bulls 1 percent and feeders 90 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 54 percent 
of the run, heifers 39 percent and replacement cows 7 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.
