Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Wednesday Nov 14, 2012

   Cattle auctions at Ashburn (1021), Athens (726), Donalsonville (750), 
Jackson (608), Moultrie (400), and Washington (432). Receipts Wednesday 
3,997 week ago 2,991 and year ago 3,537. Compared to one week earlier, 
slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady, feeder steers and heifers unevenly
steady to 2.00 lower, steer calves unevenly steady to 3.00 lower, heifer  
calves unevenly steady to 2.00 lower, replacement cows steady.

Slaughter cows 15 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 83 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 48 percent 
of the run, heifers 41 percent and replacement cows 11 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 20 percent.
