Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Thursday November 15, 2012

   Cattle auctions at Americus (182), Calhoun (1023), and Greensboro 
(570). Receipts Thursday 1,775 week ago 1,407 and year ago 1,299. 
Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and bulls unevenly steady, 
feeder steers and heifers 2.00 to 4.00 lower, steer calves and heifer 
calves 3.00 to 5.00 lower, replacement cows mostly steady.

Slaughter cows 19 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 79 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 50 percent 
of the run, heifers 38 percent and replacement cows 12 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 21 percent.
