Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Thursday February 07, 2013

Cattle auctions at Americus (220), Calhoun (601), and Greensboro 
(430). Receipts Thursday 1,251 week ago 709 and year ago 1,601. 
Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady, feeder 
steers and heifers unevenly steady, replacement cows mostly steady.

Slaughter cows 18 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 80 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 52 percent 
of the run, heifers 40 percent and replacement cows 8 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 20 percent.
