Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions that were held Monday Feb 11, 2013

   Cattle auctions at Blackshear (67), Carroll Co. (599), Eastanollee 
(235), Fitzgerald (295), Swainsboro (307) and Thomaston (n/s). Receipts 
Monday 1,503 week ago 1,643 and year ago 1,454. Compared to one week
earlier, slaughter cows and bulls steady to 2.00 higher, feeder steers and
heifers unevenly steady to 3.00 lower, steer calves and heifer calves mostly    
2.00 to 5.00 lower, replacement cows unevenly steady.

Slaughter cows 10 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 88 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 54 percent 
of the run, heifers 34 percent and replacement cows 12 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 16 percent.
