Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions Held Tuesday Feb 26, 2013.

Cattle auctions at Dixie (742) Franklin Co. (750), Lanier (293), 
Pulaski Co (300) and Thomas Co (n/s). Receipts Tuesday 2,085 week ago 
3,362 and year ago 3,873. Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls
steady to 3.00 lower, all weights feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady
to 3.00 lower, replacement cows mostly steady. 

Slaughter cows 14 percent, slaughter bulls 3 percent and feeders 83 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 52 percent 
of the run, heifers 37 percent and replacement cows 11 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.
