Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Cattle Auctions Held Tuesday Mar 05, 2013.

Cattle auctions at Dixie (1272) Franklin Co. (1017), Lanier (351), 
Pulaski Co (360) and Thomas Co (573). Receipts Tuesday 3,573 week ago 
2,085 and year ago 3,798. Compared to last week, slaughter cows steady to
3.00 higher, bulls steady to 2.00 higher, feeder steers and heifers steady 
to 3.00 higher, steer calves 2.00 to 4.00 higher, heifer calves 1.00 to
4.00 higher, replacement cows mostly steady to 2.00 higher.

Slaughter cows 14 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 84 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 49 percent 
of the run, heifers 38 percent and replacement cows 13 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 19 percent.
