Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/02/2013
 
Receipts:  2885    Two Weeks Ago  5200    Year Ago:  3100
 
    Compared to two weeks ago, steers sold fully steady to 3.00 higher and 
heifers sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher.  Demand was mostly moderate from the 
normal slate of buyers.  Sale consisted of part loads and loads of mostly 
home raised calves and feeders. Steers were 62 percent of the run, 37 
percent heifers and balance on bull calves. Near 85 percent weighed over
600 lbs. Next feeder sale will be Jan 9, expecting 4500 head.
