   Compared to last week, steers under 800 lbs sold steady, over 800 lbs 
sold steady to 2.00 lower. Heifers sold mostly steady with a flat 700 lbs 
trending 2.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate from an average crowd 
of buyers.  Heavier cattle displayed more flesh than previous weeks. 
Steers were 60 percent of the run, with 78 percent of the total weighing 
over 600 lbs. Next week, January 30, expecting 4500 head.
