SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (886) WEDNESDAY, 
May 2, 2012
 
Receipts:  886      Last Week:  945      Last Year:   1,296

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 7.00 higher 
and bulls sold weak. Feeder steers sold 4.00 to 10.00 lower 
and heifers sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower.    
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 28 percent pairs/replacements.  
The feeder supply included 58 percent steers and 42 percent heifers, with 
an estimated 17 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
