SUMMARY OF 1 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN SENATOBIA (392) THURSDAY,
May 3, 2012

   Compared to last Thursday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower.    
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 3 percent pairs/replacements.
The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent heifers, with
an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
