SUMMARY OF 6 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (1,083), 
FOREST (1,337), MERIDIAN (378), MACON (671), HOUSTON (310) AND 
WEST POINT (733) ON November 12, 2012.

Receipts:  4,512        Last Week:     4,859      Last Year:  4,789

   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady.  
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 11 percent pairs/replacements.  
The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 percent heifers, 
with an estimated 11 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
