SUMMARY OF 5 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (571), 
WINONA (193), PHILADELPHIA (229), BROOKHAVEN (78), and MIZE (83) on 
TUESDAY, February 26, 2013

Receipts:      1,154       Last Week:     1,619     Last Year:   1,937   

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 3.00 to 6.00 lower 
and heifers sold steady. The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows 
and 13 percent pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent 
steers and 48 percent heifers, with an estimated 17 percent of the feeder 
supply weighing over 600 lbs.
