Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady with
exception of 800 lb and heavier steers trading 1.00 to 3.00 lower on
limited supplyt. Steer and heifer calves steady to 3.00 higher, with 4
weight heifer calves up to 10.00 higher. Demand moderate to good for all
classes. Quality plain to average, few attractive. Feeder cattle in
slightly thin to moderate flesh. Weigh-ups mostly average.
Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 440-500 lbs 188.50-
205.00; 500-550 lbs 174.50-188.00; 550-600 lbs 168.50-175.00; 650-675 lbs
153.00-154.50; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 154.00-161.00; 700-725 lbs 150.00-
152.75; 760-770 lbs fleshy 140.00-143.25; 800-900 lbs 140.00-143.25.
Medium and Large 1-2: Calves: 450-500 lbs 183.00-187.00; 525-600 lbs
154.00-160.00; Yearlings: 625-700 lbs 150.00-156.50; 700-800 lbs 144.00-
