Feeder Cattle Auction Narrative Report for Mon 02/04/2013
Actual Receipts: 6914 Last Monday: 6303 Year Ago Monday: 5727
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady with
exception of 800 lb and heavier steers trading 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Steer
and heifer calves steady to 3.00 higher, with 4 weight heifer calves up
to 10.00 higher. Demand moderate to good for all classes. Quality plain
to average, few attractive. Feeder cattle in moderate to fleshy
conditions. Weigh-ups mostly average. Receipts this week totaled 75
percent over 600 lbs and 39 percent heifers.
