Feeder Cattle Auction Narrative Report for Mon 02/25/2013
Estimated Receipts: 3700 Last Monday: 8554 Yr Ago Monday: 13,468
Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested.
A winter storm and blizzard like conditions moved across the panhandle
and into western Oklahoma overnight and continues this morning, closing
down roads in that area. This system is moving east and expected to\
cause travel problems across much of the state by later today.
**Due to these conditions all cattle will be sold today and there will
be no sale on Tuesday.** Thus far only about 30 head of cows and
bulls are available on the yards, thus there is not enough to test
the slaughter cow and bull market this week.
