Receipts: 471 One Week Ago: 1300 Year Ago: 1246
Compared to last week, feeders sold uneven but near steady on a lighter
test; yearlings were not well tested. With ice covered farm roads, supply
was light; demand good. Cows and bulls were 17 percent of receipts. In
the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 56 percent of the run; heifers
44 percent. Near 21 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs. Slaughter
cows sold steady to 1.00 lower.
Feeder Steers: Medium and large 1 400-500 lbs 172.00-191.50; 540-600 lbs
153.00-166.00; 600-700 lbs 145.00-154.00; few 830-855 lbs 136.00-140.00.
Medium and Large 1-2 few 350-360 lbs 189.00-191.50; 400-500 lbs 163.00-
182.00; 525-600 lbs 157.00-163.25; 600-700 lbs 144.00-159.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-400 lbs 160.00-173.00; 400-
