Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
So far on Wednesday negotiated cash trade was at a standstill in the Southern and
Northern Plains. Last available markets are from the previous week. In the Texas
Panhandle live sales sold at 129.00. In Kansas live sales sold at 128.00. In Nebraska
live sales sold from 127.00-129.50 with dressed sales at 203.00. In Colorado live
sales sold at 129.00. In the Western Cornbelt trade was inactive on light demand. Not
enough sales to establish an adequate market trend. Last week live sales sold at
127.00 with dressed sales at 203.00.
