Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
Thus far for Wednesday negotiated cash trade is light on light to moderate demand in
the Southern Plains with live sales trading from 121.00-122.00 with the bulk of sales
at 122.00. Trade was mostly inactive on light to moderate demand in the Northern
Plains and Western Cornbelt. Not enough sales in these regions for an adequate market
test. In Nebraska last week, live sales traded from 122.00-123.50 with dressed sales
from 194.00-195.00. In Colorado last week, live sales traded at 122.00. In the
Western Cornbelt for the previous week, live sales traded from 122.00-125.00 with
dressed sales from 194.00-200.00.
