Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
On Wednesday, negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive in all major feeding
regions. Not enough sales to establish and adequate market trend. The last
established market was last week. In the Southern Plains, live sales sold at
127.00. In Nebraska, live sales sold at 127.00, with a few at 127.50. Dressed
sales sold at 202.00 with a few up to 203.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales
sold from 127.00 to 127.50. In the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold from
127.00 to 128.00. Dressed sales sold at 202.00, with a few up to 203.00.
