Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
Thus far on Wednesday, negotiated cash trade in Texas and Nebraska is light on light
demand. Compared to last week in Texas, early live sales sold steady at 128.00.
Compared to last week in Nebraska, early dressed sales sold steady at 205.00. In
Kansas, Colorado, and the Western Cornbelt, trading is mostly inactive. Not enough
sales for an adequate market trend. The last established market was last week. In
the Southern Plains, live sales sold at 128.00. In Nebraska, live sales sold from
128.00 to 128.50. Dressed sales sold at 205.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales
sold from 128.00 to 130.00. Last week in the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold from
127.00 to 129.00. Dressed sales sold at 205.00.
