Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
So far for Wednesday in the Southern Plains and Nebraska trading has been slow
on
light demand. Compared to last week in the Texas Panhandle live sales have sold
1.00
to 3.00 lower, in Kansas live sales sold have sold 1.00 lower, at 125.00,
respectively in
both feeding regions. In Nebraska live sales has sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower from
124.00
to 125.00 when compared to the prior week. Dressed sales last week sold from
202.00
to 205.00. In Colorado and the Western Cornbelt trading has been mostly inactive
on
very light demand for Wednesday. Last week in Colorado live sales sold from
125.00 to
125.50 and dressed sales sold from 203.00 to 205.00. In the Western Cornbelt
live
sales sold mostly at 125.00 and dressed sales sold from 202.00 to 203.00.
