Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday

So far for Wednesday trading in the Texas Panhandle has been limited on very light 
demand. Not enough sales to fully establish a market. However, a few live sales sold 
at 125.00. In Kansas trading and demand were moderate. Compared to last week live 
sales sold 3.00 higher at 125.00. In the Northern Plains and Iowa/Minnesota trading 
of negotiated cash beef types was at a standstill. Last week in Nebraska live sales 
sold from 122.00-124.00 and dressed sales sold mostly at 198.00. In Colorado live 
sales sold at 122.00. In Iowa/Minnesota live sales sold from 123.00-124.00 and 
dressed sales sold from 198.00-200.00.
