Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday
Thus far on Thursday, negotiated cash trade is at a standstill in all major feeding
regions. Not enough sales to establish an adequate market trend. The last
established market was last week. In the Southern Plains, live sales sold at 125.00.
In Nebraska live sales sold from 125.00 to 126.00. Dressed sales sold mostly at
202.00. In Colorado last week, live sale sold at 125.00. In the Western Cornbelt,
live sales sold from 125.00 to 127.00. Dressed sales sold from 200.00 to 202.00.
