Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far on Friday, negotiated cash trade in the Southern Plains has been light on
light demand. Compared to last week, live sales sold steady at 125.00. In Nebraska,
trading has been light on light demand. Compared to last week, live sales sold
steady to 1.00 lower at 125.00. Dressed sales sold mostly 2.00 lower at 200.00.
In Colorado, trading and demand has been light to moderate. Compared to last week,
live sales sold steady at 125.00. In the Western Cornbelt, trading is light on light
demand. A few early live sales traded from 124.00 to 125.00 and a few early dressed
sales sold at 200.00 on a light test.
