Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Wednesday
Thus far on Wednesday, negotiated cash trade in was light to moderate on light to
moderate demand in the Texas Panhandle. Compared to last week, live sales sold
steady at 123.00. Trading in Kansas, the Northern Plains, and the Western Cornbelt
is mostly inactive. Not enough sales to establish an adequate market trend. The
last established market was last week. In Kansas, live sales sold at 123.00. In
Nebraska, live sales sold at 123.00 with dressed sales at 196.00. Last week, in
Colorado, live sales sold at 123.00. In the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold from
119.00 to 123.00. Dressed sales sold at 196.00
