Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday

Thus far for Friday afternoon, in the Texas Panhandle trading was light to 
moderate on light demand.  In Kansas trading was moderate on light demand.  
Compared to Friday morning, live sales in both regions sold steady at 127.00.  
In the Northern Plains and Western Cornbelt trading was light to moderate on 
light demand.  In Nebraska, compared to last week, live sales sold 1.00-2.00 
lower from 126.00-127.00 and dressed sales sold 2.00-3.00 lower at 201.00.  In 
Colorado, trading was light on light demand, however for the week live sales 
sold from 127.00-127.50 and dressed sales sold at 203.00. In the Western 
Cornbelt, compared to last week live sales sold 2.00-3.00 lower from 124.00-
125.00 and dressed sales sold 3.00 lower at 200.00.
