Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday

Thus far for Friday, negotiated cash trade and demand was light in the Southern 
Plains. Compared to Thursday in the Southern Plains, few live sales traded steady at 
123.00. In Nebraska trade is slow on light demand. Compared to last week, dressed 
sales traded mostly steady with the bulk at 194.00 with a few up to 195.00. Not 
enough live sales for an adequate market test. Last week in Nebraska live sales trade 
mostly at 123.00. In Colorado trade was inactive on light demand. In Colorado last 
week, live sales trade mostly at 124.00. In the Western Cornbelt trade was light on 
light to moderate demand. Compared to last week, live and dressed sales trade steady 
from 122.00-122.50 and from 193.00-195.00.
