Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Thursday, 10/4/2012
On Thursday trading and demand was moderate in all major feeding regions. Compared
to last week in the Southern Plains live sales sold 1.00 higher at 124.00, with a
few in Kansas at 124.50. In Nebraska live sales sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher at 124.00.
Dressed sales in Nebraska sold unevenly steady at 190.00 with a few up to 192.00.
In Colorado live sales sold 2.00 higher at 124.00. In the Western Cornbelt live
sales sold steady to 1.00 higher from 120.00 to 123.00. Dressed sales sold steady
to 2.00 lower at 190.00.
