Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday 1/4/13

On Friday, negotiated cash trade and demand was light to moderate in the
Southern Plains. Compared to last week, live sales sold 1.00 higher at 128.00.
Trading and demand was moderate in the Northern Plains, and the Western Cornbelt.
Compared to the previous week, in Nebraska live sales were 1.00 higher at 128.00,
with dressed sales 2.00 to 3.00 higher at 205.00. In Colorado, live sales sold
1.00 to 2.50 higher at 128.00-130.00.  Compared to the prior week, in the Western
Cornbelt, live sales sold steady to 1.00 higher at 127.00-129.00 with dressed
sales 2.00 to 3.00 higher at 205.00.
