Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 1/8/13
On Tuesday, negotiated cash trade in Texas and Nebraska was light on light demand.
Compared to last week in Texas, early live sales traded steady at 128.00. Compared to
last week in Nebraska, early dressed sales sold steady at 205.00. In Kansas,
Colorado, and the Western Cornbelt trading was mostly in active. Not enough sales
for an adequate market trend. The last established market was last week. In the
Southern Plains, live sales sold at 128.00. In Nebraska, live sales sold from 128.00
to 128.50. Dressed sales sold at 205.00. In Colorado last week, live sales sold
from 128.00 to 130.00. In the Western Cornbelt last week, live sales sold from
127.00 to 129.00. Dressed sales sold at 205.00.
