Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 1/9/10
On Wednesday negotiated cash trade in the Texas Panhandle was mostly inactive on
light demand. Few early sales on Tuesday traded at 128.00. Trading was limited in
Kansas early Thursday with a large string selling at 201.00 dressed; the last
established live market was 128.00 on Friday. In Nebraska, trading was light on
light demand with a few dresses sales trading at 205.00 on Tuesday. A few live sales
sold at 127.00 with the last established market on Friday at 128.00 to 128.50. In
Colorado, trading was light on light demand with a few dressed sales at 205.00. The
last established live market was last Friday with sales selling from 128.00 to
130.00. In the Western Cornbelt trading was mostly inactive on light demand. The
last established market was last week, with live sales selling from 127.00 to 128.00
and dressed sales at 205.00.
