Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 1/16/13

Wednesday in the Southern and Northern Plains saw trading slow on light demand.
Compared to last week in the Texas Panhandle live sales sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower,
in Kansas live sales sold 1.00, at 125.00, respectively. Compared to the prior 
week in Nebraska live sales sold 2.00 lower from 123.00 to 125.00 and dressed
sales sold 4.00 to 7.00 lower mostly at 198.00. In Colorado live sales sold 2.00-
2.50 lower at 123.00. No dressed sales for a market test, last week dressed sales
were from 203.00 to 205.00. Wednesday in the Western Cornbelt trading was limited
on very light demand. Not enough sales for a market trend. Last week live sales
sold mostly at 125.00 and dressed sales sold from 202.00 to 203.00.
