Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 1/22/13
On Tuesday, negotiated cash trade was mostly inactive in all major feeding
regions. Not enough sales for an adequate market trend. The last established
market was last week. In the Texas Panhandle, live sales sold mostly at 125.00.
In Kansas, live sales sold from 123.00-125.00. In Nebraska, live sales sold
from 123.00 to 125.00, with dressed sales mostly at 198.00. In Colorado, live
sales sold at 123.00. In the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold at 122.00 on a
light test. Dressed sales sold from 195.00 to 198.00 on a light test.
