Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Friday, 7/19/2013

On Friday, negotiated cash trade and demand was light in the Texas Panhandle with 
moderate trade on light demand in Kansas. Compared to last week in the Southern 
Plains, live sales traded steady at 119.00. In the Northern Plains and Western 
Cornblet trade was moderate on light to moderate demand. In Nebraska, compared to 
last week, live sales sold steady to .50 lower from 119.50 to 120.50 with the bulk
at 120.00. Dressed sales sold steady at 193.00. Compared to last week in Colorado 
live sales sold unevenly steady at 120.50. Compared to the prior week in the Western
Cornbelt live and dressed sales both sold steady. Live sales ranged from 120.00 to 
121.00 and dressed sales from 191.00 to 193.00.
