Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 8/19/2014

On Tuesday in the Southern Plains trading was at a standstill. In the Northern Plains
trading was mostly inactive and in the Western Cornbelt traidng was very limited with
very light demand in both regions. Not enough sales for a market trend. Last week in 
the Texas Panhandle live sales sold at 155.00 on a very light test. In Kansas live 
sales sold at 155.00. For the prior week in Nebraska live sales sold mostly from 
154.00-156.00 and dressed sales sold mostly from 244.00-245.00. In Colorado live 
sales sold at 157.00 on a very light test. For the previous weekin the Western 
Cornbelt live sales sold from 154.00-155.00 and dressed sales sold mostly at 240.00.
