Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 165.00-189.00; 500-600 lbs 143.00-
166.00. Feeder bulls: 400-500 lbs 160.00-189.00; 500-600 lbs 147.00-165.00.
Feeder heifers: 400-500 lbs 150.00-174.00; 500-600 lbs 129.00-150.00. Slaughter
cows and bulls steady to 2.00 lower. Boners 80-85% 79.00-94.00; High Dressing
98.50-102.00; Lean 80-85% 72.00-83.50. Cow/Calf Pairs: Small and Medium 1-2
830-1100 lbs young to middle age cows with 85-290 lbs calves 900.00-1355.00 per
pair.
Hogs on Monday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 60.54, down 0.50. Sows live price 300-450
lbs 47.42, 450-500 lbs 54.03, 500-550 lbs 57.07.
SC Grain on Tuesday. Corn bids were steady, processor bids 6.80-7.39.
Soybeans were 5 to 10 cents lower, processor bids 15.23. Wheat bids were
steady, processor bids 6.60-7.10.
Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 82.93, up 0.28.
